SPEAKER : CHRISTINE C. QUINN
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK
CITY HALL,
NEW YORK, NY 10007
Dear Madam Speaker: Christine C. Quinn
I thank you, Madam Speaker for taking the time to respond to my letter. A copy of your response is enclosed. I admire your courage .
The flawed process of the LMDC gave birth to a corrupted design that is being constructed as you are reading this letter. It is urgent that you take a drastic action to stop it.
Your distinguished council -as you mentioned- has an oversight role on the lower Manhattan’s rebuilding process. I am suggesting that you use this oversight rule to the best of your ability and the best of the ability of the specialized committees. Despite the unmistakable corruption of the process I didn’t hear that the City Council opposes the rebuilding process or its outcome. Your city- Madam Speaker- is taken for a ride I expect you to shout over the mountains’ tops. Your podium at the City Council counts as one of these tops.
Governor-elect Eliot Spitzer compared the corruption of the process of rebuilding lower Manhattan to the Enron scandal. LMDC ruined the New York’s rebuilding process and now they are dissolving themselves and running. Most likely they are spending their time, destroying the evidences that could incriminate them before leaving.
I am offering my testimony before you and before your distinguished New York City council. Enclosed on the accompanied CD is an unedited copy of my book “In for a Dream”. Please ask me to send a copy of this CD to any number of council members or government officials, you elect to receive this CD. This CD proves conclusively that the rebuilding process was inferior, mismanaged and corrupted. I am available to explain the contents of this CD.
LMDC outlined embarrassing goals to rebuild lower Manhattan. To completely achieve these goals, the process would be declared a major failure. LMDC never came close to achieve their own shortsighted goals, failing on every milestone thus far.
Happy Holidays.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours Sincerely,
